About this module
The module is aimed at unpacking the “what”, “why” and “how” of a mentally healthy workplace, as well as introducing you to range of free tools and resources to assist you to commence or to continue to take action.
As you go through the module, remember that is ok to start small and build – not everything needs to be introduced at once and creating a mentally healthy workplace can take time.
Some actions will be required from a legislative perspective, and whilst this is very important, creating a mentally healthy workplace is more than just meeting legal requirements – it’s about creating that culture of care, where people genuinely feel like they are cared for beyond just getting the job done.
It’s also about bringing out the positive elements of work that can enhance people’s mental health.
People feeling that work has a sense of purpose, an environment and culture that builds strong social connections, as well as creating opportunities for individuals to grow, develop and make valuable contributions in their roles.
This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

- Understand the benefits of creating a mentally healthy workplace.
- Implement strategies to create a mentally healthy workplace, leveraging an integrated approach, adopting critical success factors and employing existing tools and resources.
