About this module
This course has been developed to provide allied health professionals (AHPs) including physiotherapists, psychologists, exercise physiologists, and occupational therapists, with the skills, tools and knowledge to help guide and progress their patients’ recovery and their transition back into work sooner.
This course will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Learning outcomes
After completion of this course, you will:
- understand the Return to Work scheme
- explain the health benefits of work
- work effectively as a member of the treatment team
- perform early screening to identify the risk of poor outcomes and take appropriate action to address potential issues
- use a biopsychosocial approach when treating patients
- develop a pathway to recovery in collaboration with your patient
- measure and demonstrate effectiveness of treatment.
